My son lives in a farming community and as of now they had not been able to plant their corn, alfalfa and their tomatoes because of the dreadful rains they have been having this year. It has been a total loss for them. Also as of Jan.1st, the electric companies will no longer be making regular light bulbs...the companies will be selling only the spiral efficient light bulbs...so try to stock up on the regular light bulbs before they are all gone.
We have been asked by our church to become more self-reliant. There is still time to plant your own garden. Even if you live in an apartment, try growing a tomato in a pot.
